Earl and Ruby Adams

Earl Monroe Adams and his twin brother Ernest were born December 18, 1901, to J. S. and Hattie Lunn.  His mother died in childbirth, and his father was unable to care for the babies.  They were soon adopted by Charles and Matilda Skidmore Adams.  Charles Adams was from England; he was born January 15, 1845, and died June 17, 1919.  Matilda was born October 1, 1853, and died August 21, 1927.  Earl’s brother Ernest died February 6, 1906, in an accident involving a horse.  Earl served in World War I.


Earl married Ruby Jeanette Williamson, daughter of Richard A. (Dick) and Dessa Nance Williamson.  Ruby was born January 4, 1903, and she died September 11, 1988.  They had no children.
