Clyde and Romy Baxley

Clyde Wesley Baxley, son of T. H. and Emma Woolley Baxley, was born May 12, 1900.  He worked at Askew and Buford Drug Store in Sulphur Springs, and he was one of the first presidents of the Richland Cemetery Association.  Romy Masters Baxley, born March 22, 1900, was the daughter of Sam and Emma Smith Masters.  She was an elementary teacher, and she taught at the Richland school as well as several others.  They had one son, Ronald Baxley.  Clyde died January 28, 1976, and “Miss Romy” died July 18, 1992.  This picture was made in 1962.
