Sam and Mary Mitchell

Samuel Philitis Mitchell, son of Henry Bascom and Laura A. Filya Mitchell, was born June 13, 1894, and died March 31, 1978.  He married Mary Elizabeth Allen, daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Georgia Dixie Ellis Allen.  Mary was born December 13, 1895, and died November 19, 1968.  Their children were Lena Muriel Allen Mills, Adrian (Lop) Mitchell, Inez Mitchell Dendy, Reginald (Son) Mitchell, Rayburn (Blue) Mitchell, Mary Evelyn Mitchell Fite, and Gene Allen (Chicken) Mitchell.
